Desirous Party just completed their trip to Temptation Los Cabos, the week before the resort converted back to Desire Los Cabos.  David from Desirous Party reports the trip was a rousing success, and provided the following details.

We have been to Temptation Los Cabos several times and thought we knew what to expect, but this was an incredible trip that blew away our expectations. This trip was originally scheduled for another resort in southern Mexico off the Pacific Coast, where we had planned to do a boutique resort takeover. It was our plan to do an intimate trip where everyone felt special, knew each other by first names and no one felt like a number. However due to some logistical problems we moved the troup to Temptation Los Cabos and it turned out to be an extremely good decision.

Upon arriving at the resort we were met by Jesus Prado who is in charge of guest relations. He told us that everything had been arranged and he had prepared our own private section at the resort. He said the staff were still preparing our area and he would come get us poolside in a short while.  After chilling poolside and starting to relax after a day of traveling with four or five drinks (lost count), Jesus returned to gather the group for our tour.  We were taken to the third floor where a wall had been built which closed off half the third floor. Only one stairway gained access to our floor. On one end the staff had taken the doors off three jacuzzi suites that were grouped together. A bar had been set up outside with speakers mounted on the walls. Jesus explained that this would be our private bar and our private jacuzzi suites. A security guard would be stationed on the second floor and only our group, and those we invited, would be allowed access. 

I was then handed our own dining itinerary as Jesus had prepared dinner reservations for our group on each night of the week. He had roped off areas for our group, giving us a VIP feel. Each night the group would get together for dinner and then proceed to the Meranque Bar before heading to the disco and/or our private bar. Hence we were able to keep that intimate feeling where everyone interacted, knew each other by first names and hung out all week long.

All of our rooms were grouped together except for two couples who were directly below us on the second floor. Every evening a guard appeared and at 9pm when our bar, fully stocked with top shelf liquor, opened. I had brought three ipods full of a vast variety of dance music. A big thanks to Dj O who took his time to load up those tunes for us. Evidently the resort Dj heard about our music and requested some of the music as well.

To say we were shocked would be a understatement. The resort did not have to but chose to go out of its way to accommodate us. I was told the resort had never done this for another group, but were going out of their way to help us as they understood out situation (having to cancel the other resort) and management was pleased we chose Temptation.

On Monday evening Jesus organized a welcome cocktail hour for the group to mingle in one of the jacuzzi suites. We were expecting to have a few drinks and mingle. However that was not the case. Jesus had prepared specialty desserts, an ice sculpture in the shape of a penis and in walked the resort G.M. and also the #1 person in charge of all the Desire resorts. I learned then that our group was very special to them (not to mentioned Dream Pleasure Tours). They explained that they were making a statement of exceptional service and would do anything to make our group happy. We had a few very important business men in our group and even they were taken aback that men of this importance would stop their busy day to go the extra mile for us.

By Tuesday evening we were ready to do something a little different, but we wanted to keep our private group intact. So we chartered a 76 foot party boat called "The Love Shack." On Wednesday we ventured to Cabo for a little fun. One huge boat and three crew members with coolers of beer, rum, tequila and vodka. Oh and fajitas that were just made for the group. We were asked what we wanted to do, site see, fish, swim etc...? I stepped up and said, "Party"! So we plugged in our music in the boat speakers, and the captain took us on an adventure. We got up close and personal to the Horn and saw alot of seals. Then we  headed out to go whale watching.

The captain got us really close, really close. Lol. Then we hit a bay where we all jumped into the chilly water and they tossed beer to us as we floated around living the good life. It was really nice to not be crammed onto a boat with a bunch of tourists not with our group. The ladies could do as they chose which of course was to get topless. We had a blast on "The Love Shack" and loved our day on the water. The group stayed in Cabo for drinks and then dinner. It was such a great group as we did everything together. Everyone was so easy to please as we all just wanted to have a great vacation and have fun.

It was a great week and by far one of the most organized vacations that we had ever taken. In fact I can honestly say that in all of my years traveling in a lifestyle capacity, I have never experienced such a level of service where the staff went out of their way to make our group feel special with private accommodations. It really sucked to cancel our previous resort but I cannot imagine it being anywhere close to what we experienced at Temptation.

Gary used to be on the Howard Stern Show as the intrepid “in the field” reporter who would ask the questions reporters in the main stream media just won’t ask. We’re also heating up the air waves on the east coast. On a more serious note, Jenny Friend does a radio program on the Voice America Network about sex and sexuality. April Cruise 2013 Date Changes

We have just been notified by Royal Caribbean that due to an unexpected change in their dry dock availability, the Brilliance of the Seas is being called in for its normal scheduled maintenance early, which results in them needing to move our charter up one week to April 6th - 13th, 2013. The itinerary will stay exactly the same.

We know this is quite the inconvenience, and we apologize for this change. For this inconvenience, we are going to give all of our currently booked customers a $100 per cabin onboard credit ($150 per suite). It will automatically be added to your onboard account and can be used for anything on the ship during the charter - spa treatments, to buy excursions, have fun in the casino, treat yourself to a specialty restaurant, buy a wine package or a gift in one of the shops, etc.

Here is the small (or not so small) print: The credit can only be used onboard the ship and cannot be transferred to any other sailing, refunded as cash and is a one time offer that is forfeited should cancellation of this cruise occur.

It’s official. Desire Pearl in Puerto Morelos, on the Riviera Maya in Mexico, is now open. Even though Dream Pleasure Tours sent the first group to the new Desire a few weeks back, the official grand opening was set for Saturday April 27, 2012, and what a grand opening it was.

All during the day we watched as workers built a stage by the beach, complete with a runway over the pool, dozens of lights in the pool, banners, sound systems and a huge 20 foot electronic screen. We knew we were in for something special when we heard the periodic boom of the speaker checks. The day was Cancun perfect – temperature in the 80s, a gentle breeze off the Caribbean, and not too humid. Enrique, entertainment manager, and his staff, worked diligently all day and into to early evening to prepare, moving furniture, setting up tables and making the pool and beach side cabana restaurant ready for the festivities. At the same time, Guido, head chef, had his crew cooking up a storm.

The evening began just as the sun set, with cocktails around the pool and at the lounge atop the beachside restaurant with the DJ spinning lounge grooves. The open bar and conversation was complimented by sushi appetizers and the passing of two cruise ships, lights ablaze, just beyond the reef. The ambience was pure delight, and it was enhanced when the heart and soul of Desire, the ladies who manage much of the Desire's marketing, sales and reservations, arrived. Alma, Sylvia, Pattie and Dania were dressed to impress and that they did! It was great to catch up with the Desire team on such a festive occasion.

After cocktails it was down to the restaurant for dinner. White table cloths, fine crystal and elegance set the tone, topped off by the buffet to top all buffets. Lobster, ahi tuna, salmon, shrimp, rack of lamb, leg of lamb, veal chops, filet minion, grilled fish and baked fish, just for the meats. Then salads of many sorts and a full pasta bar. The highlight though was the ceviche bar, where one of Guido’s expert staff made ceviche to order, with the ingredients of your choice, including fish, shrimp, octopus, squid, lobster, fresh lime juice, salsa and spices. It was fabulous. Of course the wine and champagne flowed constantly, and if you had room, there was an amazing dessert selection.

After dinner the guests mingled back around the pool and beachfront stage and when all had gathered, Mario got up on stage and introduced the De La Pena family, owners of Desire Resorts, and the resort management, including Pearl’s new manager, Alessio. Senora Patricia De La Pena welcomed everyone as friends, thanked all of her commercial partners for helping make Desire such a success, and thanked everyone for coming to celebrate this momentous occasion. Her father, Senor Diego De La Pena address the crowd in Spanish, and expressed similar sentiments.

As the Desire management left the stage, one of the hottest DJs in Mexico, Baby Queen, cranked up the dance mix as Mario introduced the Victoria Secret Fashion Show. Six hot Victoria Secret models entertained and enticed the audience with selection after selection of exotic and erotic undergarments and lingerie. As the fashion show came to and end, the sky exploded with a fireworks display reminiscent of any good fourth of July celebration. With thunderous applause and cheering, the crowd moved off the disco, where the party continued until the wee hours of the morning. Desire Pearl, sister resort to Desire Riviera Maya and Desire Los Cabos, is born, and a new legend begins.

If you visited Desire Pearl when it was Ceiba del Mar, you may ask, “What’s different?” We think you’ll be amazed and impressed with the changes. Desire has added a brand new central hot tub with swim up bar surrounded by day beds (where the kiddy pool used to be—still used for playing, just a different kind!) There is a raised DJ station that faces the main swimming pool to one side, and the hot tub to the other side, so the DJ or entertainment staff can entertain guests at both pools with the new sound system. Down on the beach and around the pool you’ll find dozens of new day beds. By the upper restaurant you’ll find the brand new disco and playroom. Add a great entertainment staff, a top ranked chef, and a passion for service, and you’ve got a resort experience that is tough to beat. Throughout the resort management has made hundreds of small changes in amenities, staff and processes so that Desire Pearl certainly rivals Desire Riviera Maya for ambience and experience. And don’t forget, every room has a view of the ocean, the pool or both from your own private lanai.
