We love swingers and lifestyle parties wherever they are held but some of the best parties are at on premises swingers clubs. Let’s face it, takeovers of traditional night clubs and bars, or even parties held at hotels still make playing more challenging.  Where do we go?  Your room or ours? Do we need cars? Do we take two cars or one? And what if we get back to the room and things aren’t clicking like we want?  All of these issues become mute at an on-premises swing club, particularly if the club has been specifically designed for partying AND playing.  So we get really excited when we find out that another club has opened.  

And that’s just what has happened for the lucky people in southern California. Just forty minutes east of LAX lies the town of Corona, known to locals as the crossroads of two major freeways, the east west 91 or Riverside freeway, and the north south 15 freeway. Nestled just one exit from this major intersection lies southern California’s newest on-premises club, Tryst. Mike and Melanie opened Tryst just over two months ago, and they’ve gotten off to a rousing start, with more planned.

Right now the club features a socializing area with a BYOB bar, traditional cocktail tables, a DJ station and dance floor, snacker’s buffet, and stripper pole.  By the front entrance and close to the downstairs bathroom is a row of lockers for personal and play items, or for those who want to change into sexy attire.  But the feature we really liked is the booth style seating.  Just off the dance floor are six or seven large booths—enough for three or even four couples.  What make this area nice is that unlike traditional tables, that only seat two to four people, the booths encourage couples to get together, increasing the mixing and mingling.  We think the booths are a great idea.

Upstairs is another stripper pole (I think it’s the highest stripper pole we’ve ever seen), a pool table, another “ladies only” restroom, and a well thought out play area.  No thinking about where to go at this club. Just grab your new found friends and head right for one of the more private cubby holes, or to the “let’s been seen and meet others” open play areas.  The lighting is just right, and plenty of towels are available as needed.  The air conditioning seemed to work very well, which is nice because you know how playing can work up a sweat!

The vibe at Tryst is casual and friendly. The music, while loud enough for dancing, was low enough that one could carry on a conversation with new friends without having to shout one’s head off.  Mike, Mel and their head of security Chris, were all about making sure everything was running well, and people were having a good time.

While at the club we met our good friends Scott and Nicolette from Kasidie.com. Kasidie and their team really seem to get around to the clubs.  If it’s not Scott and Nicoletta, it’s Emily, their head of club relations.  You know if Kasidie is in the house, there will be lots of free goodies for up for raffle.   Why is it that every owner of an online community that we know has a “hot” wife?  If you’ve met Nicoletta, you know what we’re talking about!

If you’re not from the immediate area and you have to stay overnight, there are two hotels within two blocks of the club.  And if you do stay overnight, make it a weekend.  One of the best Sunday brunches in southern California is just a few miles away at Taps Fish House and Brewery, with twenty of the best beers in the world on tap, and seafood to die for.  And only a few miles further is the famous Tom’s Farm, a farmers market, restaurant, boutique retailer and gourmet shop all rolled into one.  Tom’s is a great place to grab a bottle of wine, some cold cuts and cheese, and relax around their small lake listening to music. Their lakeside outdoor stage features live music every weekend (and its free!).

So why not put in your plans an evening at Tryst or a whole weekend in Corona.  We think you’ll be very glad you did.
