A WEDDING suite doubles as a seedy swingers’ club where strangers meet for illicit encounters, the Sunday Mercury can reveal.

The 1,000-seater Million Dollar Suite in Bilston, in the Black Country, is popular with Asian couples who hold huge reception parties.

The recently refurbished venue boasts a stage, two bars and offers clients a “premier banqueting suite for all types of weddings”.

But as newlyweds celebrate their sacred vows in one room, others are breaking theirs next door.

Tucked away through a door on the side of the building is the Foxy Lady Adult Cinema, which shows X-rated films daily.

But its visitors are more interested in replicating the scenes on screen than watching them.

The picture house is well-known in swingers’ circles as a place to meet like-minded individuals. Regulars could soon have to find their fun elsewhere as council chiefs launch an investigation into the business.

Scores of websites dedicated to the clandestine pursuit feature reviews and tributes to Foxy Lady. Many are too explicit to publish in a family newspaper but one reads: “If your wife loves male attention and likes to be watched, or anything else for that matter, she won’t be disappointed.

“As for the films, can’t really comment, always too busy doing other things! Worth a visit for an exciting time. Enjoy!”

Naked.

Another reads: “Hi all. Me and my wife will be visiting, most likely on 2nd August early afternoon. Her first time, so be respectful. Would ideally love another couple or two to play with. Anyone up for it?

“Also, chances are we’ll both be getting naked!”

Other posters talk about wandering round the venue in the nude and carrying out sex acts. On one website the cinema is listed as boasting bed and breakfast accommodation.

Last night the Mayor of Wolverhampton, Councillor Bert Turner, was shocked to hear about the club, which is in his Bilston East Ward.

“I am going to talk to the licensing chairman. It goes without saying we need to put a stop to this,” Coun Turner told the Sunday Mercury

“There’s no way this should be allowed to happen, it brings the whole area down. It is completely unacceptable and I want it shut down.”

Colin Parr, Wolverhampton City Council Licensing Manager, confirmed that his department would be investigating the business. “These premises have a number of licences issued by the authority,” he added. “We will investigate to establish if there have been any breaches of conditions of these licences.” Land registry records show the site is owned by businessman Dave Parsons, from Sedgley, in the Black Country. The Million Dollar Suite website is also registered to him, as are the licences for a sex shop and adult cinema.

The Sunday Mercury offered Mr Parsons the opportunity to comment but he did not return our calls.

Meanwhile, nearby firms were surprised to learn what had been going on.

One businessman, who did not want to be named, said: “I knew it was a shop with the dirty movies and things. But I had no idea it was a swingers club, I am very surprised. “It was a club with a bad reputation before it was a wedding venue, so it has never been very classy.”

Despite the outrage, West Midlands Police said they had received no complaints and no reports of offences.

In a similar case in the north-east of England, cops in Durham told worried locals that they were powerless to intervene in a swingers club dispute unless money exchanged hands for sexual gratification.
