Hotel Desire Costa Rica, the sister resort of Copacabana Desire Hotel in Jaco Beach, is a boutique all inclusive adult only clothing optional resort overlooking the San Jose Valley, Costa Rica. It is located approximately 30 minutes from the San Jose Airport.

The San Jose Valley, located about 4,000 feet above sea level, boasts a surprisingly mild climate. The resort, located above the valley, is even milder.  Expect temperatures above eighty degrees during the day, and low seventies to high sixties in the evening.  The climate is not nearly as humid as other tropical vacation spots.

Hotel Desire is a majestic private, gated resort that covers six luscious acres of tropical flowers, gardens, trees, ponds and other gracious amenities. The resort feature 22 units (capacity about 26 to 30 couples) that include fully furnished hotel rooms, studios, suites and villas with one or two bedrooms located in five different building located around the property.

This former billionaire’s estate has been transformed into a tranquil, sensuous retreat where you can relax amongst the setting of lush gardens, ponds, and magnificent valley views. When you are not marveling over the scenery, take a refreshing dip in one of the two swimming pools (one pool and half the resort grounds are designated as clothing optional) or get in shape in our gym, or take in a game of tennis. Hotel Desire is great for bird and butterfly watching, with its bird feeders, flora and fauna that attracts a wide variety of birds and butterflies for your viewing pleasure. You can also take a short walk to view a waterfall.

The resort caters to adult only vacationers, including nudists, lifestylers and other open minded people. The resort has two sections—one clothing optional and the other not.  The clothing optional section includes a pool with day beds, hot tub, and walkways amongst lush tropical gardens. For resort takeovers, the entire resort is clothing optional and lifestyle friendly.

The main house features Temptation Restaurant and Bar, known as one of the best in the area, private library and sitting area next to water fountains and fish ponds.  Or sit on the veranda and take in the breath-taking views of the San Jose Valley below.

The resort offers  free wireless Internet, phone, cable TV, two full size pools with one being clothing optional, tennis court, private gym, billiard room, conference centre, acres of green gardens, soccer field, multiple fountains and fabulous views.
